The Main Library
The PUM Library provides an excellent collection from the fields of medicine, dentristry, analysis, biotechnology, dietetics, physiotherapy, nursing, obstetrics, medical rescue, public health and so on. The library collection consist of more than 310,000 volumes of books and journals in print. The library has a wide and increasing range of resources including over 6,500 e-books, about 20,000 full-text journals and approximately 40 databases covering medicine and allied sciences. Qualified staff are on hand to help users make the most of the collection, resources, and facilities. The library offers extensive operating hours including evenings and Saturdays. Library space to work and study includes both individual and group study rooms with free wi-fi access and PCs available for library users. The library is architecturally and hardware adapted to service people with disabilities. |
