The Lending Room
Library collection is protected against theft. Library self-checkout system is comprehensive, time saving and efficient solution for library users. First unit of that system - SelfCheck Kiosk - is located in the leanding room. It enables to register loans/ returns and check user’s library account with payments and due dates. Second checkout unit - bookdrop/self return machine is located next to the main library's entrance and enables returns of borrowed books 24/7

Any books used by the users should be put back on the trolleys.
The lending room is located on the first floor and is accessible only to registered users.
The collection of the lending room consists of handbooks and textbooks on medicine and allied sciences such as biology, chemistry, psychology, encyclopaedias and dictionaries. Polish fiction collection is also located here.
All items intended for borrowing are catalogued in the electronic library catalogue.
There are four catalogue computers in the lending room available for checking the items or user's library account and making the orders for the books.
The user may register the loan at the desk OR by using SelfCheck Kiosk.
All individuals borrowing library materials shall show their student ID or electronic library card.
In the lending room user can also borrow the items that are kept in the storeroom. The orders for those items have to be delivered by electronic catalogue only.
Library storeroom is the part of the library not accessible to the users.The items kept in the storeroom are intended both for lending and on site use, according to the item status and location.
