Branch no. 1

The Branch no. 1 is situated at the State Clinical Hospital no. 1 at Unii Lubelskiej street. The Main Library and the Branch no. 1 form the library information system of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. The branch collection consists of the handbooks, textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, scientific journals and press. All library materials are intended for on site use only. An artificial skull is offered as an extra didactic aid. 30 seats, 6 PC workstations with access to internet and all library's online resources are available for users. The users may freely use their own materials and the electronic devices. Free PMU wi-fi network is available in the Branch no. 1 - making all databases, e-periodicals and e-books provided by the PMU Library accessible for on site use. Users may order copies of all library materials in the Branch no. 1. The librarians assist in searching medical databases accessible through the university network and provide catalogue and bibliographic information. Services: • photocopying,
• scanning to PDF format,
• interlibrary loans for the registered users.
